Site Information

NO WI-FI AVAILABLE AT THE MOMENT, SORRY.

Tents, Tourers and small Campervans

We have plenty of space for you, and some pitches have their own wooden picnic table. But please DO NOT place disposable barbecues on them. Wood burns.

All hook up pitches require different length cables so telling us how long your cable is could be very helpful.

ALL HOOK UPS ARE NOW 10 AMP

Cae Gwair (Hayfield) is a field specifically for long stay caravans, all pitches fully serviced.

Cae Canol (Middle Field) is mostly grass and has 11 hook up points.

Y Lefel Uchaf (The Upper Level) has hard-standing and hook up points for caravans and campervans.

Y Bryn is a grassy area on the upper level, slightly above the riverbank, with 4 hook-up points, no hard-standing. Campfires along the riverbank below. Great for larger motorhomes.

Campfires are allowed on Y Bryn and Yr Afon (The Riverbank).

Yr Afon (The Riverbank) is for tents and small campervans only - no caravans. Large campervans are allowed unless the ground is too wet. 8 hookups available. All pitches are spacious, so one pitch can easily fit 2 medium tents. If you want to book the large bridge area for 3-4 tents (no hook-up) please contact us before booking.

Motorhomes
We welcome motorhomes, and there are pitches on the site where these can be parked in all weathers. However, if the ground is soft after really heavy rain, please keep to the roads and hard–standing areas.

PLEASE NOTE: For those who have been before and ask for particular pitches, we will do our very best to put you on your desired pitch, but we reserve the right to move pitches around if neccessary.

Opening times
Our licence allows us to open from April 1st – October 31st every year unless Easter falls in March.

Check-in
Check-in times are any time after 12.00 and no later than 8.00pm unless prearranged. We usually put out reserved signs in your names and you can find the pitches yourselves if we're not around.
Check-out is 12 noon on day of departure unless prearranged.

We have a modern reception building which includes Ladies and Gents Toilets, Free Showers and Washrooms; a spacious Disabled/Family shower room/toilet; Laundrette (£3 per wash); Dishwashing area and Chemical waste disposal point.  The ladies block and disabled room have hairdryers which take 20p and £1 coins. We also have a spacious Campers Kitchen for wet days. The building is of a high standard built with local stone cladding and slate roof.

We also provide a free freezer pack service and mobile phone charging  in Reception.

Reception hours during peak times are roughly 10.00-1.00 and 5.00-8.00.

We have fishing rights on part of the river: 2 rods only at any one time, and by prior arrangement only.

Dogs (but no dangerous breeds) are allowed on leads on the site. No more than 2 dogs per family. The path and woods beyond the static field gate are fine off lead, but please do not leave bags of dog mess there.

We also have 2 long-stay fields and a separate static caravan field.

During the booking process, please provide the following information in the Notes box at the end:

Is it a caravan, tent or motor-home?
What berth caravan/motor-home, size of tent?
How long is your hook-up cable?
At what time do you expect to arrive?
What is your car registration?

If you've been before and would like a particular pitch, you are welcome to note it here, but we cannot guarantee that pitch for you.

RECYCLING

Bins are at the rear of the reception building. We provide recyclable bags for all your bottles, cans, cardboard etc and the recycling bins are clearly marked (bilingually). Please ensure that all members of your group are aware that there are 2 different types of bins AND THAT DOG POO BAGS SHOULD NOT BE PLACED IN THE RECYCLING BIN.

Any large items should be taken to the recycling depot 4 miles away in Dolgellau (on your left as you enter the town).
